Description This exclusive private club focuses on the social and cultural well-being of its members. The club has a fully equipped professional kitchen, a stylish bar, multiple restaurant and event spaces and a loyal membership base. This is a unique opportunity for those who want to do business within an exceptional framework, with room for personal interpretation, growth and long-term cooperation. Nieuwpoort - TOP Case in Marina

Not specified

West Flanders, Nieuwpoort

We rented a hull building in the Nieuwpoort Marina in 12.2020. We have fully furnished this property - cooperated with a catering architect from Diksmuide and suppliers from around Nieuwpoort. Everything is of very decent quality and finished with solid materials. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, combi steamer, salamander, toaster, microwave, freezer, cooker hood, dishwasher, warming cabinet, warming lamps, saladière, ... the hall consists of about 60 seats (chairs and benches), counter is fully equipped with a Goliath Tap installation, beverage fridges, wine fridges, ... We often hear: one of the most beautiful businesses of Nieuwpoort and of course located on a TOP location with lots of passage of cyclists and walkers. We are officially open from 08.05.2021 - until 01.07.2021 only terrace (corona measures). In the meantime we have made a good business with a reputation far beyond Nieuwpoort. In the beginning we started as a day business only: breakfast, lunch and sweet menu. Then in the first winter, at the request of many customers, we decided to also offer dinner in the evening. Currently we do 3 evenings in the summer (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and 4 evenings in the winter). Because of our limited experience in catering and a shortage of hands, we were never able to use the full capacity of the restaurant: +/- 60 seats on the front terrace overlooking the boats (sun from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.), +/- 60 seats inside and +/- 35 seats on the back terrace (sun from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.). At the moment we (especially between the 2 of us) have an annual turnover of +/- 400.000/450.000 euro... but with a bit of permanent staff and experienced catering people a turnover x2 is easily achievable. The rent is currently +/- 2.800 euro. We ourselves rent as storage space another 2 garages, located in the basement area under the business, at - 100.00 euro each. There are no agreements with suppliers. No permanent staff to take over. And you can check all references on Google, Facebook and Tripadvisor. The business is running super but due to health reasons of myself (daily migraine) we unfortunately have to leave our bistro, our baby. Of course we do not leave the business for next to nothing, everything is new, very well finished and materials used, nice goodwill/customer portfolio, limited stock of goods and beverages, still stock of bar and room equipment, and a reputation as a catering business built up (previously there was a clothing store located there, and then the building has been empty for 4 years). Different options in acquisition are possible: acquisition VAT number, acquisition by goodwill and investments and thus with its own VAT number, ... Also negotiable is to run for a few more weeks as a transition.
